Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) Installation – Chelmsford, Essex

This project involved the installation of a Vent-Axia Pozidry Pro PIV unit with integrated heater at a property in Chelmsford, Essex. The system was installed to help address ongoing condensation, mould, and poor indoor air quality issues within the home.

The loft-mounted PIV unit was suspended within the roof space to minimise vibration and operational noise, helping to provide quieter day-to-day operation. A ceiling diffuser was installed to introduce filtered fresh air into the property, creating positive air pressure that helps reduce moisture levels and improve overall ventilation throughout the home.

As part of the installation, a new fused spur was installed to supply the unit safely, along with a new loft light to improve accessibility and maintenance within the roof space. Once completed, the system was fully tested and commissioned to ensure correct operation.

This project involved the installation of a new inline extractor fan system at a property in Chelmsford, Essex, to improve ventilation and help remove unwanted odours from the building. A Manrose inline extractor fan was installed to provide powerful yet discreet extraction while keeping noise levels to a minimum.

The installation included acoustic ducting to reduce operational noise and improve overall performance. Ducting was routed through the roof space and terminated through the soffit, providing an effective and neat external discharge point while maintaining the appearance of the property.
