Consumer Unit Upgrade – Chelmsford, Essex

This project involved replacing an older consumer unit with a modern metal consumer unit, improving the safety, reliability and protection of the property's electrical installation. The existing arrangement was upgraded to provide individual protection for each circuit, bringing the installation in line with modern electrical safety standards.

The new consumer unit was fitted with individual RCBO protection and surge protection (SPD). Unlike the previous arrangement, where a single fault could disconnect power to multiple circuits, RCBOs allow each circuit to operate independently. This means that if a fault occurs on one circuit, the remaining circuits can continue operating while also benefiting from modern residual current protection.

Inline Extractor Fan Installation – Chelmsford, Essex

This project involved the installation of a new inline extractor fan system at a property in Chelmsford, Essex, to improve ventilation and help remove unwanted odours from the building. A Manrose inline extractor fan was installed to provide powerful yet discreet extraction while keeping noise levels to a minimum.

The installation included acoustic ducting to reduce operational noise and improve overall performance. Ducting was routed through the roof space and terminated through the soffit, providing an effective and neat external discharge point while maintaining the appearance of the property.

Inline extractor fans are an excellent solution where improved airflow is required without the higher noise levels often associated with standard wall-mounted fans.
